Countries with the most master-dataset records

These links reflect record counts in the 2009–2025 master dataset. Country profile totals may be higher because profiles can also include records for named places normalized to that country. Counts include all three classifications and therefore do not represent counts of explicit prayer requests.

Understanding your results

Three classifications, kept distinct

A place being mentioned does not necessarily mean that prayer was explicitly requested for that place.

Direct Prayer

A high-confidence occurrence in which explicit prayer or intercession wording names the place. Use this classification for the most conservative prayer-request view.

Prayer-Linked

The place has a meaningful grammatical connection to a prayer imperative, but the wording does not meet the stricter Direct Prayer standard.

Warning Only

The place appears in a warning or related geographical statement but is not made the object of prayer in that occurrence. These records are not explicit prayer requests.

Research scope

What this index does — and does not — establish

This site is a research index of published messages attributed to Luz de María. It documents and classifies what the messages say; it does not independently establish that a reported private revelation is supernatural, or that a warning was fulfilled by a later event.

The source material is presented in the context of Catholic private revelation. Ecclesiastical permissions such as an Imprimatur or Nihil Obstat should not be confused with formal Church confirmation of supernatural origin.

Follow the records back to their sources

Individual records preserve, wherever available, the message date, reported speaker, named place, Reason / Context, classification, PDF page, and source reference established during review. The official annual English PDFs can then be consulted to examine the published message in context.
